sunday we managed to tick TWO things off our 'wish list'. first we went to the willamsburg flea where i begged for the skeleton for 'educational purposes', to no avail, and then hopped on the ferry down to dumbo (district under manhattan bridge overpass- cool name huh?!) to try out the outdoor pop up pool. we were the only adults that were there without kids which was a little embarrassing! we hid in the corner of the pool and played games like underwater slapsies (impossible to slap hard), 'bet you can't do this...' and trying to make up the hardest resistance exercise (obviously that one was my idea and i won!) just to camouflage in you see (yeah right)!
